About
Hi, I’m Anne.
About Me
I’m a mixed race (Taiwanese and white) settler living in so called East “Vancouver”. My background is in harm reduction, mutual aid, outreach, group facilitation, and community organizing in “Vancouver’s” Downtown Eastside. Building community capacity is a great way to support collective well being, and I find this work rewarding and fulfilling on an individual level.
I am a MPCC (Master Practictioner in Clinical Counselling) candidate recognized through the CPCA . This means that I work with a supervisor to make sure I am providing the best quality therapeutic care that I can to my clients. I can assess and treat mental health with a personalized healing plan that looks right for you.
I Believe that Healing is Political.
Healing is deeply affected by social, economic, and power structures. Addressing trauma requires an understanding of systemic and systematic structures that can impact our lives. Through my on going work experiences, lived experiences, and education, I constantly strive to make healing a radical, liberating act of reclaiming agency, dignity, equity, and autonomy.
Please Note: If you are looking for a diagnosis, a psychiatrist would be better suited for your needs. I offer collaborative care with other health professionals upon request.
